TC-ALK
TC – ALK is an alkali-based product, which is used to clean vegetal, animal and mineral oils in cargo tanks, bilge tanks, lazaret, ship boards and engine rooms. It does not leave a residual hydrocarbons on the surface that is used. It is also used in the cleaning of hydrocarbon residues. It has been approved by International Maritime Organisation (IMO).

Usage
It can be applied by the scrubbing, repulsing with pressure and circulation methods. It can be diluted with water based on the impurity density up to % 2-3 concentrations. If it is necessary, it can be heated up to 80-90 °C. During the application, protective gloves and masks should be used, air conditioning should be provided.
